TIKTOK DELETED 12.5MILLION VIDEOS
On July 19, TikTok published its most recent Community Guidelines Enforcement Report covering the period from January to March 2022.
The report provides updates on its aim to promote kindness on the platform and support community safety.The report is a reflection of the platform's ongoing efforts to gain trust by being honest and working to create a welcoming environment.

According to a press release from TikTok, Pakistan had the second-highest number of videos taken down for breaking community guidelines between January and March 2022, with 12,490,309 movies being removed.

With these numbers, Pakistan comes in second place globally for the most videos removed in Q1 2022, behind the US, which takes first place with 14,044,224 movies taken down. Globally, 102,305,516 videos were taken down in this quarter, or nearly 1% of allThe videos were taken down due to violations of TikTok's extensive set of community rules, which are intended to build an experience that puts safety, inclusivity, and authenticity as a priority.
The research also showed that TikTok's safety team concentrated on the Ukraine war after the Russia-Ukraine war and removed 41,191 videos, 87 percent of which broke the company's rules against harmful misinformation. 49 state-controlled media accounts in Russia were also identified by TikTok in their content. Additionally, the platform found and removed 204 accounts, 6 networks, and other coordinated efforts to sway public opinion and deceive users about their identity.
The data also showed that in the first quarter of 2022, there were more commercials eliminated overall due to violations of TikTok's advertising policies and guidelines.
Digital rights expert Haroon Baloch responded to the development by stating that the social media business is imposing "huge censorship under the guise of content regulation."TikTok removes more than 138000 films, according to the statistics, which reveals the extent of censorship. As their transparency report lacks disaggregated facts, such as under what category and what reasons provided by the government they put down the content, there are problems with openness in the data that is made public, according to Baloch.
He bemoaned how censorship is "growing day by day, especially with the suppression of free expression" in Pakistan.
